KINEMATIC INITIATIVES are sessions of generative modular & non-modular sound that consist solely of low-frequency oscillators (typically only used for modulation purposes in the sub-audible range) that move at rates quickly enough to bring them into the audible range. Within this framework, each LFO is independently tuned from the others, to form interesting harmonic layers presented as a massive, multi-voiced chord. This second volume of such recordings was recorded on September 20, 2021, and offers a much more musical profile than the more drone-oriented first session.
