The colorfully titled 'Cyanine Catacombs of Sublimity' offers up a nearly three-hour composition that explores a wavetable synthesizer within the Expert Sleepers Disting Mk4 multifunction module. The synthesizer is playing the Dorian scale, and has been processed twofold: first, sent through a custom patch in Goldwave's Frequency Blend processor, and second, routed through a convolution reverb using an impulse response from the Inchindown oil tanks in Scotland - the world's longest reverberation time in a man-made structure.

Despite all of these seemingly technical details, 'Cyanine' feels pointedly organic, and brings to mind images of expansive liminal spaces, empty and cathedral-like, but placid and still. The composition itself is somewhat liminal, existing between the tropes of the Vibratelepathos series and the Sleepbuilding sessions of overnight generative A/V broadcasts. 'Cyanine' is a soft blue-green waterway for your mind to drift through on a pleasantly vacant Summer evening.
