A simple session recorded in mid-December 2023, using the Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V sequenced in the Dorian mode with Arturia's Keystep Pro, overlaid in three distinct pitch profiles via a Vesta Fire MR-10B mutlitrack tape machine. Subtle post processing was applied using a convolution reverb, Arturia's JUN-6 chorus, vactrol-like filters and parametric equalization. Much session work and patch development has been done with this Waldorf synthesizer throughout the last two years, but until now, very little of it has ended up in the Vibra catalog, a notable exclusion that led me here. I feel that this session complements the almost nonexistent snow flurries we've had thus far, with the PPG offering pointillistic fragments of melody, like the crystalline fragments of ice falling through the cold wind.
